assists teachers in the understanding of developmentally appropriate practice and how to create daily routines and meaningful experiences that respond to children’s
strengths, interests, and needs.

 The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers, & Twos,
retains its focus on responsive care while incorporating objectives that enable teachers to focus on what matters
most for very young children. It provides ideas to teachers
to plan and implement every aspect of caring for and
  teaching children from birth to age 3. 

       Volume 1: The Foundation, outlines the research
behind the curriculum and discusses the five central
components of nurturing care and teaching.

       Volume 2: Routines and Experiences, discusses the five routines and eight experiences that are essential to the development and learning of children birth to age 3,
explaining how to plan intentionally while maintaining the flexibility to respond to the changing interests and
abilities of young children.

  Volume 3: Objectives for Development & Learning: Birth Through Kindergarten, explains the skills,
knowledge, and behaviors that matter most to the
continuing development and learning of very young
children. A tool to help teachers observe children

       Curriculum Provides:  

  • 38 objectives for developmental and learning that are predictors of school success and aligned with state         learning standards.   
  • two dedicated objectives for English-language         acquisition developmental progressions that show       widely held expectations for children from birth                    through kindergarten.
  • research findings relating to each objective and       strategies for teaching responsively.

 The Creative Curriculum for Preschool is an award-winning curriculum for preschool success. Comprising The
five research-based volumes that provide the knowledge base of the curriculum, and the Daily Resources, which offer step-by-step guidance in the form of Teaching Guides and additional daily teaching tools, The Creative Curriculum for Preschool is fully aligned with the Head
Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework
and state early learning standards. Using exploration and
discovery as a way of learning, The Creative Curriculum for Preschool enables children to develop confidence,
creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.

with additional preschool educational activities which
